Is the system suitable for permanent installation on the roof of a camper van? Is it also possible on the roof of a van, which is corrugated?

Exactly.
The base plate is glued directly to the absolutely flat roof with sikaflex or similar.
It won't work if it's corrugated.
You have to screw an aluminium plate onto the roof first.

The system is intended for permanent installation. First you have to fix a slightly thicker aluminium base plate on the roof. The antenna is then screwed onto this.
I don't know how you fix the aluminium base plate to a corrugated roof without it looking ugly.
