Is there no metal side to this enclosure. I'm looking for an inexpensive enclosure with a similar design, but without glass.

I guess there are no NZXT cases without glass. What I do recommend is the "Corsair Carbide 270R". It looks almost the same, it has no glass on the side, but it is from Corsair.
