Is this Dreambox also suitable for satellite reception

Yes, this version is designed for satellite reception. Here is an explanation of the tuners:
DVB-S2 = Satellite
DVB-C = Cable tuner (UPC, etc....)
DVB-T = Terrestrial (receivable through the air)

I use the Dreambox DM900 ultra HD only with SAT reception, as there is no UPC or Swisscom reception in our area.
Works fine.
