My protective film has come off. It is not an armoured glass protector. Do I have to replace this film or should I apply an armour protection to the display?

Basically, you don't have to stick a protective film on the display, that's up to you. A protective film protects against scratches. However, I always order an armour protection so that my display doesn't break. I can highly recommend this. If the phone falls down, only the armoured glass is defective and not the entire display ;-)
