Question about Varta LCD Multi Charger+
My USB-C chargers are apparently not suitable for this battery Multi Charger from Varta, do I have to have a special charger (for USB-C)?

The charger works perfectly for rechargeable AA and AAA batteries. A power adapter for 220V is supplied. No USB connection.
My charger, which I bought 2 years ago, does not have a USB-C port. The matching power adapter was included.
I have a suitable cable, USB-C, also a charger with USB-C output (for mobile phones)
