The TV (or ConnectBox) does not need to be permanently connected to the Internet to use basic functions. An Internet connection is primarily required for Smart TV functions such as streaming and apps, but the TV can also be operated offline.

If you do without the ConnectBox, you can connect and use external devices offline via the micro HDMI connection without the need for an internet connection. The micro HDMI port allows you to connect compatible devices directly to the TV, regardless of an online connection.
