Can I show my photos on the TV from the account, similar to the Apple TV? These should be able to run automatically as an endless loop or screen beautifier or presentation.

Hoi Lisa, I don't know Apple TV but the Chromecast: Yes, you can then run pictures as an endless loop, screensaver or presentation. Very easy to set up via the Google Home app.
