There's some confusion about the type of USB (2.0 or 3.2 gen 1). Even between Xiaomi France and Xiaomi Switzerland I get 2 different answers.
The easiest thing would be to test but I haven't bought the phone yet, nor the USB-C to USB3 cable.
If you transfer photos from the phone to your PC, how long does it take? (On a recent, high-performance computer, WITH a USB3.0 compatible cable (NOT the cable supplied))

In theory, to transfer 1Gb of photos, you should have at least :
17s in USB 2
1.6s in USB3.0
0.8s with USB3.2 Gen1
Or a simpler test: if you make a transfer to a USB3 port, then the same transfer to a USB2 port, you should see a factor of 10 to 20x on the transfer time if the phone is USB 3.

Unfortunately, I've never tested it. But all in all, the phone is quite a cucumber. HyperOS 2.0 doesn't even allow a third party launcher. But the smartphone is also really cheap and you get what you pay for.
