The Cat S42 H+ is a smartphone based on a Mediatek Helio A20 MT with a 5.5-inch display, whereby touch inputs are supposed to be registered even with wet fingers or wearing gloves. The expandable memory is 32 gigabytes and the working memory measures three gigabytes.
The LTE device supports VoLTE and VoWiFi. According to the manufacturer, the smartphone is equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and is said to be certified according to the IP68 and IP69 protection classes. Cat S42H+ can also be treated with soap, alcohol and chlorine cleaners.
A single speed dial button is also provided, as well as a waterproof 3.5-millimetre audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC. Dual SIM is supported, the installed Android 10 operating system is to receive an update to version 11 this autumn.
