When charging and discharging at the same time, the wattage of the input is reduced to the same number of the output. This means that the powerbank is not being charged additionally and is only passing on the current. Is this normal?

I have checked this myself. The wattage figures are the same, but you can see from the symbols that it charges exactly as much as it discharges. I checked it with a 20 watt adapter and a 61 watt adapter and both times the iPad pro 11" was connected. With the 20 watt it was 18.1 watts charging and then about 15.5 at the same time. With the 61 watt adapter it was 55 watts charging and then only 25 watts at the same time.
