I bought the QE65Q80R in March in a special offer for the same price as the current QE65Q82R. According to the description, they are exactly the same except for the stand. I think they were bought in large quantities as a block and the QE65Q80R is currently marked with the "normal" single purchase price so that they can sell the "block" to QE65Q82R (they are also limited....By the way, I am quite happy with mine....
