Yes, it is possible to print on photo paper. I was able to print on several types of paper up to 200 g/m2 without any problems.
The quality of the photos is good, but not much more; it's fine for occasional photo printing, but if you're looking for a printer to print nice quality photos with a printer you should clearly consider another model.
