Product details
Bumble and Bimble figure. These adorable creatures belong to the species of Hoptimists. The universe of these small wooden figures with funny springy heads was originally conceived in 1968 by Danish furniture maker Hans Gustav Ehrenreich, but production was discontinued after only about five years. In 2009, Lotte Steffensen revived the line under a specially created brand called Hoptimist, in the spirit of Ehrenreich: Their round, friendly facial shapes are meant to make us smile, and their bouncing is intended as a motivational aid to brighten our day. The concept also includes that each Hoptimist, despite its different sizes and materials, is assembled in a workshop for people with disabilities: First, we glue felt under the feet, then attach the spring to the base, and when the head is placed on top and we let go – they come to life. Baby Bimble figure. With eyes squeezed shut from laughter and a chubby nose, the little, bobbing companion made of colorful plastic encourages you to place your hands on your belly and laugh heartily while bouncing along.
