Yes, it's the UB 90. I haven't even discovered the switch-back thing yet. I assume that it then remains on level 6 for as long as the remaining time is set. With any level, you can set up to 12 hours; that's enough for the whole night. To fall asleep, I like to set both zones to level 6 for 1-2 hours. To kill any mites, you can heat the bed, covered, on the highest setting for 12 hours. I wouldn't give the heated blanket away.

One of my control units failed during the warranty period, so I contacted www.beurer-schweiz.ch in Reiden. They cannot supply control units alone, I received a completely new UB90 and was able to dispose of the defective one. The Beurer DE website states that if the overheating protection is triggered, the heating blanket can no longer be started and must be sent in for a reset - they obviously do not offer this service in Switzerland. There is also a warning that if the overheating protection has been triggered, no other control unit may be connected, otherwise it will also block.

Sorry, I wasn't ready yet.... The foot part and the rest can be adjusted separately. You can turn it however you like, but as I said, it makes more sense to simply turn it from left to right.

Basically, if you use an electric blanket correctly, you can only reap the benefits. An electric blanket a real blessing in the cold winter months. The blanket also has overheating protection. I use the electric blanket to preheat the bed during the winter months. When I go to bed, I switch off the electric blanket. I use a power strip with a toggle switch. Always spread the blanket out flat for use and disconnect it from the mains immediately after use. In addition, the cooled blanket should not be folded too tightly to avoid damage to the cable. In my opinion, a good product like this one from the Beurer company can be used without hesitation. Caution is certainly advised with cheap products.

When the part is disconnected from the power, it starts with the basic setting, i.e. it does not heat and you have to set the time and the strength. Anything else would not be so safe. We are very happy with the part and don't give it away in winter.
