The New Life frying pan is more environmentally friendly than most frying pans. It is made from high-quality, 100% recycled aluminum sourced from Europe and is produced using up to 95% less energy than conventional aluminum pans. The premium recycled aluminum is even harder than pure aluminum, as it is made from a blend of various aluminum alloys. For the first time in about 35 years, aluminum products are being produced again at the Swiss manufacturing site in Rikon. Thanks to the thick base with a full-surface induction disc and the excellent material properties of aluminum, heat is distributed evenly across the food and stored optimally. Additionally, the frying pan impresses with its durability and increased wear resistance due to the 3-layer non-stick coating reinforced with titanium particles. It is ideal for gentle and low-fat frying of vegetables, potatoes, fish, fried eggs, and poultry. The ergonomic handle made of Bakelite stays cool even at high temperatures, making it very comfortable to use. The easy cleaning saves time and water, adding another pleasant advantage to this high-quality frying pan. The packaging is made from 100% recycled paper. The goal in producing the New Life line from Kuhn Rikon is to significantly reduce environmental impact.
