As we don't like having large appliances in the kitchen, we have placed this appliance on a shelf in the "utility room" next to the kitchen and take it into the kitchen when we use it. It's not an ideal solution, but you don't need it every day (although our youngest daughter needs it every day at the moment ;-) If you take the container out and store it separately, the appliance becomes a little lighter and a little easier to carry.

Unfortunately not. You have to buy the deluxe containers with 50% more volume. I ordered these on Amazon, as unfortunately there were none available from Ninja.
