I am not aware that this model is available in different versions. On the official Shark website, only the Shark PowerDetect Clean & Empty cordless hoover for pet hair IP3251EUT and the Shark PowerDetect cordless hoover with spare battery (IP3251EUTXBAT) are listed - both for pet hair.
I use the IP3251EUT model myself and can say that it works perfectly for me with a long-haired cat (Maine Coon).
