I have compared this steam station with other Tefal appliances. Is it really the case, as stated in the comparison, that you cannot remove the water tank on this type for filling?

Of course, the water tank can be removed for filling. It is a kind of drawer made of transparent plastic.
The great advantage of this iron is that you can use tap water, which is then decalcified by the appliance.
