Question about Silit Frying pan

In the product dimensions it is written that the diameter of the opening is 28 cm, but also that the base diameter is 28 cm. How can this be the same if the pan gets smaller towards the bottom? I also have a pan at the moment, which also has an opening diameter of 28 cm, but only 20 cm at the base. That's what I'm actually looking for. So will this also be the case with this pan? Can anyone tell me? And then I have another question: you can also read here that there are 2-3 people who are very dissatisfied with the non-stick coating of this pan. Can anyone confirm this? Or is there a good alternative? Thank you very much.

Hello Community,
I would like to thank everyone who has given me good and detailed answers to my question. I have now bought the pan and have already tried it out for the first time. I made breaded schnitzel. :-)
And I have to say: I've never had a pan like this that heats up so quickly and evenly! I even had to make sure that the schnitzels didn't burn. :-) Of course, the first use doesn't say much, but I think the pan is already good.
I will always clean it by hand and only with a soft sponge. I will not use any metal cutlery for cooking. Thank you again.

The top is 28 cm but the bottom is only 23 cm.
Otherwise, I'm happy with the non-stick coating. No worries.

I think the non-stick coating is great and it keeps very well. No scratch marks if you don't go in with sharp objects.

I am not convinced by the non-stick coating, some frying marks that are difficult to clean.
Dimensions, see below. 28/23cm

The inner diameter at the top is 28 cm, the diameter of the base is 23 cm. The non-stick coating is inferior to Teflon (it cannot be used completely without grease). However, Teflon causes problems as a perpetual chemical.
