It provides outstanding warmth even when wet and in extremely cold temperatures. This thin functional underwear is designed to be worn directly against the skin as a moisture-wicking base layer. Ullfrotté Original consists of 80% air. It is a knitted terry fabric, with one side being smooth and the other made of terry loops. The airy terry loops combined with the crimp structure of the wool create a jersey knit that traps a significant amount of air, resulting in excellent insulation. The thicker the layer of air next to the body, the less body heat can escape.
