The terry fabric is produced using a circular knitting method without longitudinal seams and has excellent insulation properties. It provides warmth even when wet and in extremely cold temperatures. This thin functional underwear is designed to be worn directly on the skin as a moisture-wicking base layer. Ullfrotté Original consists of 80% air. It is a knitted terry fabric, with one side being smooth and the other made of terry loops. The airy terry loops combined with the crimped structure of the wool create a jersey knit that traps a significant amount of air, resulting in excellent insulation capabilities. The thicker the layer of air next to the body, the less body heat can escape.
