Question about Thule BackPac 973
Is it possible to mount it on a 2016 VW Tiguan?
According to Thule, mounting is possible on the 2016 Tiguan.

However, you would still need the corresponding kit (Thule BackPac Kit 973-17) for the Tiguan.

Just make sure that the car is equipped with a spoiler. Our car has a small spoiler in the sports version (small roof at the rear) and therefore the carrier cannot be mounted.
The 60kg (4 bikes) advertised on the carrier is also only possible to a limited extent, depending on the vehicle.
In our car, only 45kg (3 bikes) can be mounted. I only saw this in the kit's instructions.
If you would like to buy the carrier (without kit) a little cheaper (never mounted, only screwed together).... you are welcome to do so here. :-)
