ABB System Pro M compact S200M Bipolar 10 kA Type C. ABB System Pro M compact S200M miniature circuit breakers are current limiting. They have two different tripping mechanisms: the delayed thermal tripping mechanism for overload protection and the electromechanical tripping mechanism for short-circuit protection. All MCBs of the S200M product series comply with IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC/EN 60947-2 and can be used in residential, commercial, and industrial applications. A lower auxiliary contact can be mounted on S200M to save 50% space.

Features and benefits:

  • Extra wide and complete range of MCBs for most applications and markets
  • Space and time saving through the unique floor mounting auxiliary contact
  • Fulfills worldwide standards for domestic or small commercial installations up to 10 kA switching capacity

Standards:

  • IEC 60898: Refers to low voltage circuit breakers for use in households and similar installations, traditionally known in Great Britain as miniature circuit breakers.
  • IEC 60947-2: Refers to low voltage circuit breakers for use in industry and similar installations, traditionally known in Great Britain as moulded case circuit breakers and also as air circuit breakers.

Tripping curve C: Characteristic C tripping occurs at 5 to 10 times the rated current, applicable for protection of circuits and general applications.

Note: The products Classic and System Pro M cannot be mixed, and they have no common accessories. Products of the System Pro M series can only be mounted in new Protecta distribution boxes.
