The S804C-D40 is a 4-pole high performance circuit breaker with D-characteristic, featuring cage terminals and a rated current of 40 A. It is a current limiting device with a maximum breaking capacity of 25 kA at 240/415 V. It can be used for voltages up to 254/440 V and in DC applications as well. The device has two different tripping mechanisms: a thermal tripping mechanism for overload protection and an electromechanical tripping mechanism for short circuit protection. The S804C-D40 complies with IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC/EN 60947-2, making it suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. It has numerous approvals, allowing for worldwide use. The extensive range of accessories makes the use of the S804C-D40 more convenient. Due to its fast arc extinction, your application will be secured.
