The I/O door controller A1081 from Doorbird offers the possibility to control up to three doors or gates tamper-proof via the network. In the vast majority of cases, electric strikes are connected directly
to the door station via two wires for structural reasons. Unauthorized removal of the door station and deliberate short-circuiting of the wires can activate the electric door opener and allow unauthorized persons to access the property or building. The Doorbird door controller provides a remedy, because it is mounted in a protected indoor area such as a switch cabinet in the basement and connected to the Doorbird IP video door station via the network. It can be connected to the network via LAN as well as via WLAN.
