The Kabu-BV is a blind closure made of a solid rubber core (EPDM) with a soft thermoplastic elastomer (PUR) coating in yellow and stainless steel press flanges. This gas- and pressure-water-tight blind closure is used for Kabuflex® pipes at building entries. The advantage lies in the soft surface, which ensures a secure seal against gas and water pressure. Due to its excellent adhesion properties, the Kabu-BV blind closure fits securely in the pipe. Installation can be successfully carried out without special tools using visual contact indication (yellow bead) at the edges of the press flanges. For a secure seal, it is important to ensure that the inner seal is positioned at the level of the pipe's floor or screed, or the Kabu-Seal outer seal.
