The Kabu-BV is a blind closure made from a solid rubber core with a soft thermoplastic elastomer coating in yellow and stainless steel press flanges. This gas- and pressure-water-tight blind closure is used for Kabuflex® R plus pipes at building entries. The advantage lies in the soft surface, which creates a secure seal against gas and water pressure. Due to its excellent adhesion properties, the Kabu-BV blind closure sits securely against pressing water and gas in the pipe. Installation can be successfully carried out without special tools (torque wrench) using visual contact indication (yellow bead) at the edges of the press flanges. For a secure seal, it is important to ensure that the inner seal is positioned in the area of the pipe floor or screed, or that the Kabu-Seal outer seal is properly placed.
