The Champion Markimatik radio-controlled awning drive is an intelligent, electronic drive for awnings with up to two articulated arms or 18 square meters of surface area. This awning drive allows for convenient adjustment of the end positions via a programmed remote control. In the extended position, the drive automatically reverses slightly to protect the fabric while keeping it taut. In the retracted position, the fabric relief can be activated or deactivated to achieve optimal closure, especially for cassette awnings. A sun and wind sensor can be directly linked to the drive via radio. The drive operates extremely quietly and reliably even under load. The torque is 50 Nm and the speed is 12 rpm. The motor is a total of 700 mm long, and the motor casing has a diameter of 45 mm. It fits into any 10 mm square bearing (e.g., Becker, Elero) as well as into common star head clip bearings from well-known manufacturers (e.g., Somfy). The supply voltage is 230 V (50 Hz), and it is classified with protection class IP 44. The awning drive is supplied as standard with a 3 m connection cable and a sturdy metal awning bracket with star head fitting. It is pre-adapted for a 78 mm awning round shaft. With the available accessories, it can also be adapted for 63 mm and 85 mm round shafts.
