• Effortless centering and starting drilling thanks to the high-quality drill tip.

• Easier retraction when drilling through sheets due to the tool cone.

• Non-breaking chips are cleanly removed, similar to a spiral drill.

• The formation of built-up edges and cold welding on the cutting edges is prevented.

Application recommendations

• Use HSS step drills on sheets, pipes, and profiles with a maximum material thickness of 4 mm.

• For uncoated step drills, use cutting oil or compressed air as cooling and lubricating agents.
