Product details

HSS step drill for drilling and deburring thin sheets, pipes, and profiles made from various materials. All step drills feature a three-flat shank for secure torque transmission.

Easier retraction when drilling through sheets is facilitated by the tool cone.

Non-breaking chips are cleanly transported away, similar to a spiral drill.

The formation of built-up edges and cold welding on the cutting edges is prevented.

Application recommendations:

Use HSS step drills on sheets, pipes, and profiles with a maximum material thickness of 4 mm.

For uncoated step drills, use cutting oil or compressed air as cooling and lubricating agents.
