Hello, according to the Gardena site, the blue version is simply the newer version, the orange is described as the predecessor model. The orange works perfectly, and I have not found any obvious faults :-)

I assume that you want to connect the Flex hose at the top. Then the Gardena System hose connector set contains two hose connectors (art. no. 18215) should fit - good luck!
