Is the curtain permeable to air?

The curtain is probably air permeable as many flyscreens are made from air permeable materials to ensure good ventilation. However, there is no specific mention of air permeability for this product in the information provided.

Yes, you can shorten it. But you need to have a sewing machine or some manual dexterity to sew a hem on the shortened side, for example. The special feature here is that it is not fabric but a thin net.

Hello, I have just bought and fitted this one. The 80x200 is just right for me. Shortening it would certainly work, but it makes sense because of the magnets. The curtain is also superbly finished all round, which looks unattractive if you shorten it. Shortening then looks unattractive and can fray. I'm still looking for a curtain for 120x200 myself and can't find one because they're all getting longer, for whatever reason... Hope to have helped you? Best regards Urs

Helpful answer

As the product cannot be cut, the dimensions stated on the back of the packaging must be adhered to fairly precisely. The dimensions are not actually about the pane but about the door frame, which must be at least 76 - 80 cm wide and 198 - 200 cm high.

Unfortunately, there is no magnetic curtain from Tesa that is 2.4 m high. Article "tesa insect screen COMFORT for windows, with Velcro tape, self-adhesive, no drilling (1.20 m, 2.40 m)" would fit, but is not for running through. Maybe a DIY fly door would be an idea?
