The solar panels from Swaytronic are equipped with monocrystalline solar cells using shingle technology. They are suitable for both stationary and mobile applications, such as caravans, boats, garden sheds, and island systems. The junction box is IP67 rated, making it dustproof and protected against water jets from any angle. The connection cables are equipped with standard MC4-compatible plugs/connectors. Series connection of the panels up to 500 V is possible, and the solar panels can be connected in parallel to increase power output. In combination with a solar charge controller and a storage battery (LiFePO4) from Swaytronic, an autonomous energy system can be realized without extensive prior knowledge. In the connection technology or innovative wiring technique known as shingling, the individual solar cells are layered and connected like roof tiles. The overlapping of the cells replaces inactive areas with active cell areas from the cells above, achieving optimal module performance.
