The shingle technology enhances performance and improves the shading behavior of the solar panel. Swaytronic's solar panels are equipped with monocrystalline solar cells using shingle technology. The application range includes both stationary and mobile applications, such as caravans, boats, garden sheds, and off-grid systems.

The junction box is IP67 rated, making it dustproof and protected against water jets from any angle. The connection cables are equipped with standard MC4-compatible plugs and connectors. A series connection of the panels up to 500 V is possible, and the solar panels can be connected in parallel to increase power output. In combination with a solar charge controller and a storage battery (LiFePO4) from Swaytronic, an autonomous energy system can be realized without extensive prior knowledge.

The innovative wiring technique, known as shingles, arranges the individual solar cells inside like roof tiles and connects them. By overlapping the cells, inactive areas are replaced by active cell areas of the cells above, leading to an optimal increase in module performance. The wiring of the cells also improves the shading behavior of the modules. Unlike standard modules, the unshaded cells remain active.
