The truck with crane boasts impressive dimensions, especially when the telescopic arm is fully extended. An additional boom can further increase the size of the crane. In its fully extended and upright position, the crane reaches a height of 1.30 m, surpassing some of the smaller construction vehicles. Stability at this scale is crucial and is ensured by swiveling and individually adjustable support legs on the vehicle platform. Additional stability against tipping can be achieved through the attached counterweight, similar to the original crane. To adequately weigh down the model, it can be filled with sand.

The winch features a locking mechanism and overload protection, allowing for effortless handling of the crane hook when lifting and lowering, even heavy parts. The crane operator's cabin is equipped with a protective frame and an opening sliding door, similar to the original. An integrated tool compartment in the platform adds to the numerous functions of the crane. The newly developed cab of the Scania Super R features doors that can be opened and foldable side mirrors.
