The Aqua Color paints are now available in all 88 shades. The advantages of this color system: Revell Aqua Color paints in 18 ml containers are easy to work with. The paints are water-soluble, low-odor, non-flammable, and contain virtually no organic solvents. There are 88 different colors that can be mixed together. The paint dries completely within 2 to 3 hours. Repainting is possible after just one hour, which means it is six times faster than with enamel colors. These paints and the enamel colors (14 ml) can be easily painted over each other after drying, but they cannot be mixed together. The paint is also suitable for airbrushing. It is important to note that the paint should not be overly diluted, with a maximum of 20 to 25% water. Ideally, the paint should be thinned with Aqua Color Mix, as it also acts as a drying retardant and prevents the paint from drying too quickly in the airbrush. The airbrush should be cleaned immediately with water after use. If the paint has already dried, the airbrush can also be cleaned with Airbrush Clean or Aqua Color Clean. For brush application: The paints are brushable and feature high opacity. Smooth surfaces after brushing are almost as good as with airbrushing. The end result is absolutely comparable to enamel colors and offers exceptional results when brushed.
