The three-layer mask is made from CoolNet UV+ fabric, which is composed of 95% recycled polyester. It features a replaceable filter system developed by Finnish specialists at Ahlstrom-Munksjö, boasting a bacterial filtration efficiency of 98%. The filter complies with the standard for surgical masks (UNE EN 14683) regarding bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE%) and differential pressure, ensuring the lowest breathing resistance. Additionally, the HeiQ ViroBlock® technology, an antibacterial treatment applied to the inner pocket fabric of the mask, protects against microbes and germs while also helping to control odors. This special coating withstands up to ten washes at 60 °C.

With its adjustable fit and lightweight design, the BUFF® filter mask is comfortable to wear even for extended periods. The ergonomic design avoids uncomfortable pressure points behind the ears, as the mask is secured around the back of the head and neck, making it barely noticeable for the wearer.
