With the IPL hair removal device Lumea Advanced, you can enjoy three months of hair-free skin. It features a skin sensor and is suitable for the body. The treatment takes only 15 minutes for both lower legs. A Satin Compact correction trimmer is also included, along with a free Lumea app as your personal assistant.

The IPL technology, designed for home use, was developed in collaboration with dermatologists. IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light. Philips Lumea treats hair roots with gentle light pulses, putting hair follicles into a resting state. This gradually reduces hair growth. With regular treatments, your skin will remain wonderfully hair-free and noticeably smooth. The treatment is safe and gentle, even on sensitive areas. Philips Lumea is clinically tested and offers a simple and effective treatment, conveniently from home.

Independent studies show that after just three treatments, there is at least an 85% reduction in hair. The first four treatments should be done every two weeks. After that, you should already see the desired results. To maintain the results, simply repeat the treatment every four weeks. After just eight treatment touch-ups, you will be hair-free for at least three months.

Philips Lumea Advanced can be used on many hair and skin types. It is suitable for (naturally) dark blonde, brown, and black hair, as well as skin tones from very fair to medium brown. Due to the required high contrast between hair and skin pigments, Philips Lumea, like other light-based treatment methods, is not suitable for treating white/gray, light blonde, or red hair, as well as very dark skin.
