hi Micky18 - depends on what the goal is. Cleaning it will not make it better or worse than the Maya ear cleaner. But by replacing the front silicone screw tip you "produce" waste. How often do you plan to replace this screw tip? And have you ever seen the packaging of the Q-Twist?
Overall, I am/was not satisfied with the construction quality of the Maya ear cleaner. The connection between the plastic handle and the metal breaks. But you can still use the metal part. It will never break again :)
