The offer for 145.- does not include a travel case. Is it possible to use an old case (from an earlier model but also Diamond Clean) with a new handpiece and it also charges?

Charging in the "old" case works perfectly, had to replace the handset and bought the cheaper offer without the case. By the way, it's worth extending the warranty on these appliances. Two of us use the DiamondClean and the last two devices were defective after a good year.
