I’ll admit it, I have a soft spot for any accessories for plants and pots. I haven’t actually tested any of these yet, but if they’re pretty and useful, I’m always tempted. Here are my top nine plant accessories from the Galaxus range.
1. For when you’re away or busy
You’ve been away for three days and your houseplant’s already looking a bit sad? If this sounds familiar, the Mercury watering globes are for you. They take care of watering your plants while you’re away. All you need to do is fill them with water and stick the stem into the soil. When the soil dries out, the vacuum inside automatically releases water to the roots. This set of two glass globes looks so natural and elegant that it would almost be a shame to hide them away. If you find the transparent version too plain, Mercury is also available in amber.

2. Automatic watering and a splash of colour
The hand-blown Aqua Globe by Danish brand Hübsch replaces your watering can with a decorative element. Placed among the leaves, the globe made of amber-coloured and blue glass automatically waters your plants and keeps them thriving while you’re away.

3. Floating plants
I really struggle with water stains on the hardwood floor. That’s exactly why I love Nube’s planter feet, available in silver and brown, so much. They lift flowerpots slightly off the ground so that air can circulate and water can drain more easily. They can be used both indoors and outdoors and, as a bonus, help protect your floors and furniture.

4. Green picture on the wall
If the floor’s already full, how about using the wall for your plants? The Linea wall planter in white creates a green oasis in the smallest of spaces (28 x 28 x 9 cm). Thanks to pre-drilled holes and the mounting materials supplied, it can be hung up in no time. For outdoor use, I recommend drilling additional drainage holes. Indoors, a protective liner is enough. This wall planter is available in two sizes and four colours.
5. Wave-shaped hanging pot
Instead of just standing on the ground, my next plant will be allowed to float in the air. The Wave hanging pot designed by Vasebord is available in green or light grey. It immediately catches the eye with its uneven texture, inspired by flowing waves. It’s 3D-printed in Germany from biodegradable plastic made from cornstarch. Thanks to the removable drip tray and adjustable cord system, you can hang it exactly the way you want.

6. Stackable plant saucers with character
When I’m watering my plants, I sometimes tend to go a bit overboard and end up flooding the windowsill. Luckily, these Hachiman saucers from Japan are made of weather-resistant polypropylene and are great for a balcony or windowsill. Every saucer is unique because of the manufacturing process. What’s handy is that they can be stacked and are also ideal for storing garden tools.
7. Elegant and unique
No two pots are alike, and that’s exactly what makes them so appealing. The Nami pot by Oyoy, complete with a saucer, is made of 100 per cent stoneware, and each piece is individually glazed. Featuring a minimalist design, soft look and playful charm, this pot is designed for indoor use only, as it can’t withstand frost. Pair it with other pots, whether for kitchen herbs or your favourite plant. This designer piece is available in two sizes and in amber or white.

8. Put your plant on a pedestal
Why not give your plants the same treatment as a sculpture? The Luen plant stand by Woood makes this possible with its minimalist design, a warm brown powder-coated metal finish and an elevated position for your plants. At 70 cm high and 30 cm wide, it fits into any corner, comes fully assembled and can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
9. A wooden stage
Sometimes it’s perfectly fine for the pot to take centre stage rather than the plant itself. The Forma Plantbox Nature by Hübsch comes in oak veneer and brings a warm, natural look to the room.
