The game highlight in June ten years ago was Divinity: Original Sin – the game which saw Larian Studios set the course for the blockbuster Baldur’s Gate 3. And RPG fans will also get their money’s worth in June 2024.

Star Wars: Hunters

Zynga is working on Star Wars: Hunters, a free-to-play Overwatch-style arena shooter. Two teams of four face off in well-known locations such as Tatooine, Hoth and Endor. There are numerous well-known characters to choose from, including Stormtroopers, Jawas and Wookies.

Autopsy Simulator

Strong stomach? Then you might want to have a go at Autopsy Simulator. In a dimly lit autopsy room, you’ll dissect realistically rendered corpses to solve murders. There’s also a supernatural component to the game.

Blockbuster Inc.

Ever dreamed of managing your own Hollywood studio, decorating sets and shooting movies? Well, here’s your chance! In Blockbuster Inc. you get to do just that. It’s also your job to look after the movie stars. This game is reminiscent of The Movies by Peter Molyneux’s studio Lionhead.

#BLUD

Visually, this game is reminiscent of the 90s cartoons found on Cartoon Network, such as Dexter’s Laboratory. Becky Brewster’s new in town – and gets caught up in a vampire apocalypse. Along the way, she has to survive the horrors of field hockey practise. #BLUD combines dungeon crawler with action RPG.

Still Wakes the Deep

The Chinese Room – the studio behind Dear Esther and the Amnesia series – is delivering a new horror game. The premise: it’s 1975, and a disaster has occurred on an oil rig off the coast of Scotland. You have to fight your way through the sinking station to try to save your crew. Many eerie locations and a supernatural horror element await you.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2

In Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2, you play as a new Fazbear employee whose job it is to manage a pizzeria inhabited by murderous robots. In the process, you go through various minigames. Oh, and you can look forward to jump scares – think VR adaptations of classic Five Nights at Freddy’s locations.

Aarik and the Ruined Kingdom

Drug Dealer Simulator 2

Simon and I are already high on the first Drug Dealer Simulator. Sure, the game is trashy, but it’s also entertaining. In the sequel, your aim is again to build a drug empire. The game world is considerably larger. You buy and sell drugs on several Caribbean islands and mix them to the desired quality.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

The first expansion to Elden Ring promises to be monumental, adding an area about the size of Limgrave. You’ll also get to enjoy new equipment, dungeons and bosses that’ll drive you crazy. In order to play Shadow of the Erdtree, you’ll most likely have to have defeated Mogh in Mohgwyn Palace in the main game, as that’s where the expansion starts.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania

As in the numerous prequels, you guide a monkey in a ball through increasingly crazy racetracks. This game promises colourful, chaotic fun.

Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD

The 3DS classic is making its way onto the Switch. This improved version can be played with up to four people. Head into the Night Shadow Valley alone or with friends to recover lost pieces of the Dark Moon. The moon must be put back together so that the spirits may rest in peace.

NeoSprint

The remake of the Atari classic offers arcade racing fun for up to eight people. You race against computer-controlled opponents or friends on compact, toy-like tracks. Choose from various vehicles and even design your own tracks!
