Does the charging current at the USB-C output regulate itself automatically and is adapted to the device to be charged? For example, can I charge headphones without damaging the battery or an iPhone?

You don't have to worry about that. A device only draws as much current as it needs. In addition, a device with a battery also has control/charging electronics that should prevent too much.

The 4 USB A ports have a total of 24W (5V/4.8A), this can be found on the manufacturer's page. Does anyone know if this means that each one has 6W, or that the power of 24W is simply divided up...? -> In other words, can I draw 24W from a plugged-in device or only 6W?

If someone has bought the unit, you can see this in the appendix of the description on the unit, where it should actually be written whether it is simply 24W that is divided, or whether it is 4x 6W.
