All Corsair K95 RGB Platinum have CH keyboards and normally do not have the Z reversed with the Y . Mostly marked with the "CH" in the bracket. e.g.: Corsair K95 RGB Platinum (USB, "CH", cable, MX-Speed). If it says DE in the brackets, it is the German layout.

The K95 Platinum takes Corsair performance to the next level. Unleash mind-boggling performance with Cherry MX mechanical keyswitches. Save and play back complex macros and lighting effects on any keys. Battle on a keyboard that can withstand a lifetime of keystrokes. Assign complex macros to each of the 6 dedicated macro keys in-game. They are textured and contoured to make them easier to find and prevent accidental key presses. The K95 Platinum catapults Corsair's premium keyboards to unprecedented levels of customisability. The legendary aircraft-grade aluminium construction now features innovative LightEdge technology, so you can light up your mission control in spectacular, full RGB. The K95 Platinum also excels on the go. Take your CUE profiles with you with the 8MB onboard memory. So you can concentrate on the game for longer instead of investing time in setup. Manufacturer no. It is not necessary to have both USB's plugged in. One is the keyboard itself, while the other is for the additional USB port on the back of the keyboard. So one connector is actually just a USB extension to plug in a mouse or other devices. This helps to avoid cable clutter. To solve the "too far away" problem there are only 2 options; either the PC needs to be closer or you need to use a USB extension. Depending on your setup, the extension is probably easier and if it's a decent cable, there shouldn't be any noticeable problems.

According to the picture and description, it is the Platinum. The old non-Platinum version is no longer sold and is also no longer listed on the Corsair page. (It also has a slightly different design than in the pictures) Note, this is the version with MX-Speed switches. The cheaper K95 has MX-Brown, while the expensive one has a German layout.
