I don't see a problem there, yes.
The specification is for a maximum of 6GB Ram. See here: https://global.download.synology.com/download/Document/Hardware/DataSheet/DiskStation/18-year/DS718+/ger/Synology_DS718_Plus_Data_Sheet_ger.pdf Compatible Ram according to Synology: https://www.synology.com/de-de/compatibility?search_by=products&model=DS718%2B&category=rams&p=1&change_log_p=1 But... the internet says that with certain RAm modules more than 6GB Ram are possible in the DS718+ without guarantee...
A few years ago, I wanted to replace my "Mushkin Redline 3x2GB, DDR3-1600, CL6-8-6-24@1.65V" with exactly the above-mentioned memory sticks. But since I had 6 slots on the mainboard, I came up with the idea: why not use both pairs? (Corsair and Mushkin). The result was: it worked with a maximum of 3 Corsair, but ONLY 1 Mushkin bar. If I installed two or three Muskin, the PC no longer booted. I did the whole thing with an ASUS P6T (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/asus-p6t-intel-x58-lga-1366-sli-cfx-lga-1366-atx-mainboard-208942). Conclusion: in the end I had a total of 14GB RAM :) Hope that helps you.
Hello! I had bought this ram for a Mac... but considering the specs it is quite compatible with your machine. Good luck!
Hello Rinqo, yes the RAM should be compatible with your Acer, memory size (2x8GB) works, pin (204) also works, clock (1600 MHz) also works, voltage (1.35V) also works.
Hello Suninside, Yes, the RAM fit very well. I have them in the same unit. They run perfectly. Important: use both RAM, not just one ;-)
No, you need DDR3L RAM. Pay attention to the L. The difference is the voltage (DDR3 = 1.5V, DDR3L = 1.35V). As an option, maybe look for possibilities at Ricardo or Tutti.
I installed the same thing months ago and it worked perfectly. Unfortunately, two weeks ago it didn't work anymore. In the next few days I will install the old RAM to check whether it is due to the new RAM.
This should theoretically be possible. I would say: Yes.
No, you can use 2GB or 4GB RAM SO-DIMMs of 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM in each slot.

In my opinion, this should fit without any problems. According to the specs, the T430 has the same form factor (SODIMM 204) and also the same speed (ddr3-1600).
Unfortunately, this product is not compatible. Here is the compatible one: https://www.digitec.ch/fr/s1/product/kingston-value-ram-1x-4go-ddr3-1600-sodimm-204-memoires-vives-454996.
If you have 4 ram slots, it runs on dual channel, 2 sticks together (2x 16gb dual channel memory).
These should be compatible with yout device: Kingston KTH-PL316EK4/32G (4x, 8GB, DDR3-RAM, unbuffered, ECC)
Hello IanJ, unfortunately I can only say something about the performance. They run in a Lenovo Y50-70 UHD and work very well. I would buy them again. With regard to Apple products, my experience is that Apple accessories are not necessarily required. I have often installed third-party products in Apple products and so far it has worked perfectly. Greetings
Yes it is a CMSX8GX3M1A1600C10
