Yes, with the USB port
You want a "beast of burden". Androids like your Tv can usually handle external drives as long as the power supply is guaranteed. If necessary, there are also corresponding adapters. If you want to have a drive in the wifi, see if your wifi router can also be used as a NAS and connect it there. Win drive which is connected to the PC can certainly also be shared via PC in the WLAN.
No.
Unfortunately there is no information about compatibility for Mac available. In my oppinion it should be compatible. Only way to find out is to test it yourself though. Then again, you might want to directly buy a product that has been verified working with Mac.
It runs under Windows 10 64bit but on a Dell. However, I also had trouble choosing the right driver programme at first. Many greetings and good luck with troubleshooting Adrian Turtschi
Hello, It all depends on the XPS model you have... I made the same purchase of an XPS that has USB 3.0 type A connectors, so it is necessarily downward compatible (USB 2.0 on the drive), so there is no need for the Thunderbolt 3 cable (USB type C). But just in case, it is also usable, downwards compatible... The transmission speed will be set by the least recent of the interfaces, i.e. the one of the drive, USB 2.0.
There is only one usb type-a 2.0 socket
I don't know, but it's an external DVD drive and I see no reason why it shouldn't work with Linux. I have it connected to a Windows 10 PC......
Unfortunately not.
