Does the bench come with it or is it just to visualise the size of the cable? (Picture 2 and 3)

I'd like to use this adapter the other way round. I only have a display port on my PC, and an HDMI socket on my screen. Does this also work?

I bought it to connect my ps4 to a PC monitor with displayport. But nothing appears on the screen. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use the USB to connect to the ps4? I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use it on my computer.

Yes, that's right, the USB port goes on the PS4 as well as the HDMI port. Normally this should not be a problem. Do you have the possibility to test with another console/PC to see if there is a compatibility issue? Or test with another USB port? If the port in question is faulty? With thisDelock adapter, I wanted to connect my VR Oculus Rift S glasses to my labtop, which only has an HDMI connection. The sound is transmitted, but not the image. What could be the reason for this? Thank you very much for your help.

This will not work, VR glasses must be connected directly to DisplayPort or with a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter (only works if the port is "DP Alt. Mode" capable

If I have an HDMI 2.0 output on my computer, using this and a displayport cable, could I get 1080P 144hz on a 144hz monitor?

Yes, this is possible as long as you stay at 1080p resolution.

Hello! I bought this adapter and wanted to use it on a 2560x1440 Eizo monitor to connect laptops with HDMI output to it. Unfortunately, the monitor displays a maximum 1080x1920 signal and the picture is distorted (full width is used, but it has a black bar at the top and bottom). It was tried directly on the laptop, as well as via a USB-C dock. Always the same problem... Does anyone have a tip for me? I can't get an answer from Delock's support... Thank you very much!

Hello Dariowittwer I have been using such an adapter 'Delock HDMI to (DP, 24.50cm)' for my old EIZO monitor for a long time. I always get a monitor-filling picture on the monitor with its largest resolution of 1920x1200 - regardless of which notebook I have connected: 1) business notebook with graphics card capacity of max. 1920x1200 or 2) private notebook with graphics card capacity of max. 3840x2160. When I switch from one notebook to the other, I do not have to change any settings - neither on the notebooks nor on the monitor. The adapter does the necessary 'conversion'/scaling; or the built-in controller in the monitor converts everything. On the notebook, make sure that you display the maximum resolution on the notebook's own monitor. If your monitor allows such settings at all on its monitor channel, then set the maximum there as well WITHOUT CONNECTING A NOTEBOOK. Then switch off the monitor and notebook completely. Connect the notebook to the monitor and start the monitor first, then the notebook. Good luck!
