Hello 1c1tenango, I didn't have the same issue as you but the fitbit help on their website is quite useful and you may find the appropriate solution there, like this community help discussion: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-5/Daily-Activity-Reminders-Keep-Turning-Off/m-p/5383750 Or this one: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-5/Activity-reminder-Charge-5-not-working/td-p/5116781?sjid=4852550119055925376-EU I hope this helps. Best, *w

Whether such a demo would be possible, I wouldn't know, but I personally wouldn't recommend these fitness products, because the battery life of up to 7 days is very modest. If the Fitbit Charge 5 is really necessary, okay, then that's certainly a good choice. But there is, for example, the latest Amazfit GTS 4 Mini, a very well-equipped fitness watch that would have a battery life of up to 15 days with normal use, and up to 8 with intensive use (we don't know how long the Fitbit Charge 5 will run with intensive use, but that should be 2 to 3 days at the most). With GPS tracking, it runs for 21 hours and supports 5 different satellite systems (the Fitbit only supports GPS and the Russian GLONASS system). A fitness watch is a great thing, but a short runtime is no fun in the long run, and sooner or later such products end up in a drawer, because the constant recharging is simply tedious. Maybe this would be an alternative, and it would be a bit cheaper :-). And the straps are normal 20 mm straps, which you can get everywhere and change yourself very quickly (a Fitbit 5 strap costs at least 29 francs at Digitec). Amazfit GTS 4 mini (42 mm, aluminium, plastic) I found a detailed video on the Fitbit Charge 5 here (44 minutes, but it has skip marks): https://youtu.be/7vi41l1JGqs

Hello, my Charge 5 runs much more reliably than the Charge 4. If it doesn't respond at all, I would try restarting with the charging cable first. -Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device? -Press the button on the flat end of the charger three times within 8 seconds and hold each press for about 1 second. (The button is located on the USB-A connector of the charger cable). -Wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears. And if the device restarts and still doesn't work properly after that, I would contact support via the homepage. (myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en) via chat or phone during office hours. (My wife had problems with a FItbit Lux, which was replaced within a very short time after telephone support).

Hard to say. The device is a little random generator. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Like with the recording of sleep phases. Or with the activity recognition. My Fitbit already shows these symptoms after 3 months. Helpline absolutely unusable. Device thrown in the bin.
