Hello... If I have read through this correctly, you are using the 10 GBits??? with yallo fibre. This only works with the FB5590 with an SFP+ XGS-PON module, which, as usual, is not supplied. And you will probably you will probably not get this module from any provider... The most you can do is try the Zyxel module, but it may not fit. If it does: Internet access > Other provider VLAN ID > 10 Or you look here > At fs(dot)com the following article: XGS-SFP-25-20N2 We have ordered this module (up to 6 weeks delivery time) and I can only test it from 01.08.2022 (switching to 10GBits).

Hi, I was able to do this without any problem with Wingo, with one reservation: support won't be able to help if there's a problem on your local network. Unfortunately I don't know what the situation is with Yallo/Sunrise.

I'm using it without problems (Internet, incl. TV and phone). Check Swisscome site: https://www.swisscom.ch/en... The router is listed as supported (by network, not by support service), and you have information on how to set the different parameters.

Thank you. I received the Fritzbox and to be on the safe side I first reset it to factory settings using the Recover Tool. It worked perfectly.

No, it definitely does NOT work, I bought the expensive AVM module separately and installed it without success. I have installed the Zyxel module in the Fritzbox, but it does not work. I have tried the option from AVM to write the original MAC address of the Zyxel module to the AVM module. Does not work. I have written to yallo x times and get no response. If you haven't bought the FB yet, I would advise against it. I still use the Fritzbox by setting the DMZ in the Zyxel box to the IP address of the Fritzbox. Among other things, the Zyxel does not support VPN

Hello Walcon... I pursued this very question over half a year ago... Short answer to your question: YES! But you need a lot of patience with the support and you have to be lucky to have the right person on the line. Just don't give up and keep drilling until the box works. My prerequisite was that I had the last mile from Swisscom, which Sunrise rented from Swisscom...in other words, the final registration went via the Swisscom Fiber activation page, to which Sunrise was finally able to give me the activation code. Good luck! 😊

I have the box running with Sunrise on port 1 (L1). It works without any problems. I had to set the MAC address and the VLAN ID. For SIP telephony you have to contact the Sunrise hotline and order the SIP access data. I was sent the access data via SMS. It also works like a charm.

Hello Tobias it was included with my model, and it is also listed as an official accessory at AVM. https://ch.avm.de/produkte... https://ch.avm.de/produkte... And the scope of delivery also includes "1x FRITZ!SFP XGS-PON" :) The only thing you probably have to buy additionally is the fibre optic cable between the box and the glass connection (I also had to buy it from Digitec) https://ch.avm.de/service... Greetings Stefan

yes, it works, even flawlessly ;) just needs to be set up correctly, so: there are several things to consider, speaking from experience, all options work 1. possibility - connect - log in - it works 2. possibility - connect - log in - internet - access data - internet provider sunrise - access type sunrise fibre l3 - now running 3rd possibility (if the way 1. & 2. does not work) - disconnect pc/laptop from the network - connect fritzbox to pc via lan - log in - system - backup - factory settings - load factory settings - disconnect fritzbox from pc - connect - do 1st or 2nd option - be happy

What is the benefit of operating a FRITZ!Box behind the SALT Fibre Box? On an existing provider router, the AVM FRITZ!Box 4060 makes the most sense. I use the 4060 behind the 5590 as a mesh extension for WLAN, LAN and telephony. But the fundamental question remains, what is the goal? Another box does not solve any problems that a SALT fibre connection entails: https://www.digitec.ch/de...

The FRITZ!Box 5590 Fibre is an officially (Swisscom) certified end device. Most providers do MAC binding, so the assumption is correct that you have to register with your provider to get Internet access. The data required for this can be found on the label on the FRITZ!Box and in the quick guide. With other providers in Switzerland, you get to an activation page when you change hardware (provider router > free router) and can activate this without a hotline call. I use a cheaper connection from SolNet and it works without any problems with the 5590.

I have two Sunrise subscriptions, with one the 5590 has been working for some time, with the second I'm still struggling, they have changed technology. The Sunrise support is pitiful, if you then mention the Fritzbox they immediately wash their hands of it!
