Due to different suppliers and delivery conditions, there may be price differences compared to other suppliers. We always try to set a price in line with the market, but this is not possible for all products.
Unfortunately, we do not have any personal user experience with this product, but I am happy to forward your question to the Community, perhaps a Community member can help you.
Yes, exactly, I've had the same experience. Out of nowhere he'll say something, play some music or turn off the TV.
On the other hand, when you ask for something, it's very difficult.
I have 2 Hubs at home and it often answers me on the other one, at the other end of the house.
I get the impression that Google isn't putting any more effort into these devices and is concentrating on Gemini.
Yes, the product is compatible with Arlo cameras. You can connect Arlo cameras to your device via the Google Home app and view the camera feeds on a device with a screen such as the Nest Hub.
The product mentioned is also offered by a third-party retailer via our platform, over whose prices we have no influence. Therefore, there may be price differences between our prices and those of third-party retailers.
We ourselves also offer the item for just under 100.
When you set it up you choose language. I chose English, so I can 100% confirm English is a possibility. I can only assume Portuguese (BR and/or PT) are choices as well.
Hello. Personally, I've programmed an alarm clock with the radio (France Inter). I haven't tried it with a streaming service like Spotify but I imagine it must be similar.
The Google Nest Hub is much better than the Xiaomi Smart Speaker because it has a display.
The thing with the Xiaomi Smart products, you set them up in the Mi Home app first, then you can activate the connection to Mi Home in Google Home. Then you can control the Mi devices from Mi Home. Or still via Mi Home.
In any case, you can also send it back, or even better, bring it by. You can then discuss everything better, if possible.
It is loud enough to fill a room with sound, but when it comes to real music enjoyment, I would recommend buying the Google Nest Audio as a supplement, they sound much better:
Google Nest Audio (Google Assistant)
If you mean whether you can use it with Google Home installed on an Apple iPhone or tablet, that would work, but it's more a question of whether you have a Google account, because that's a basic requirement for use. By the way, these are very exciting devices, you can use them for voice commands or directly on the touchscreen, Netflix and Disney+ as well as Youtube videos and music are also possible.
I would also be very interested in this, because I also see this problem with the Google Nest Audio speakers, which officially cost 109 francs, but Digitec offers two models, one costs 127 francs with item number 17840111 in the Digitec shop, but then there is also the same speaker with item 14144842 for around 90 francs.
Why does Digitec carry several Nest Hub Gen 2 and Nest Audio products at all? This is not only confusing for new customers but also for people who know their way around.
Some products have ES as the last manufacturer code and others have EU? Makes zero sense in my opinion and only makes people who want to buy something unsure.
Hi question in the round: I have had this device for a few months now.
I have not activated Gemini but only use it with the classic Google Assistant and have deactivated Motion Sense, Voice Patterns and all optional data collection.
So far, this has worked perfectly. For a few weeks now, however, I've had the impression that the Assistant is going stupid.
The assistant no longer understands simple questions and commands that were previously executed/answered without any problems.
Sometimes it takes umpteen attempts before the device responds to "Hey Google".
Conversely, the device recently responded with "I don't know" after Google was mentioned in the news programme. However, the TV is in a different room and the volume was on low.
Has anyone had similar experiences?
The product is very versatile. Here is an overview of the most important functions:
Google Assistant: The integrated Google Assistant responds to your voice commands, completes tasks, answers questions and controls your smart home.
Smart home control: Ability to control thousands of compatible smart home devices.
Display: 7-inch touchscreen display for displaying information, controlling devices and interacting with the Google Assistant.
Sleep tracking: Uses Soli radar technology to detect the smallest movements when the device is positioned close enough to the sleeping person.
Sensors: Includes various sensors such as the Soli sensor for Motion Sense, an EQ ambient light sensor and a temperature sensor.
Speakers and microphones: Equipped with a full-range speaker and three microphones for interacting with the Google Assistant and playing audio.
Does the Google Nest Hub 2 already work as a Thread Border Router?
I can find contradictory information on this. In the Google Shop, the Google Nest Hub (2nd gen) says "802.15.4 (at 2.4 GHz) Thread - functionality not yet available". Does this mean that the hardware is actually available, but the software is not yet...?
Can I use it to set up a Thread network and, for example, add the Nanoleaf Matter Bulbs (https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s14/product/nanoleaf-matter-smart-bulb-e27-9-w-806-lm-3-x-f-leuchtmittel-35797627?ip=nanoleaf+matter+bulb) to my Thread network and control them?
